Ordered 16 tacos from here and a drink for 40$ We got birria, lengua, chicken, and asada street tacos. All were packed with meat, the flavor was great, and so was the quality. Only took about 5 minutes, super quick and easy in and out. Cute small place, great prices, lots of meat options, great for takeout. Everyone was super nice. Will be back!

I always get sopes de asada and the ceviche de camarón. Fast service. 10-15 mins max. Cash only.

Their Carnitas tacos are unrivaled! Yumm!! Quick and pleasant service always!! Although the place could use a makeover..the food and efficiency is tops!

Tried Sandy's tacos a few times for their tortas chilangas. I wasn't too impressed. I may be biased being a chilanga myself. Tried them again recently because someone had mentioned their tacos were good. We got 3 orders of tacos de papa. And a couple of tacos de asada and al pastor. All 3 orders of tacos de papa turned out to be chicken. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but if I were, this would have been upsetting. That being said, they were delicious, and I will be ordering them again. The tacos the al pastor were good. It could have used more seasoning for the amount of tortilla. I took a tortilla out to enjoy the al pastor. The asada tacos were not good. The meat was dry, like crunchy dry, like if beef jerky was fried dry. It was not the jam and could eat the one bite I took. Maybe it was an off day, we all have those. And like I said, I will be ordering the fried chicken tacos again. I will also give the tacos a second try just to be fair.

I love their food is great! Specially the Sopes are small but you get an order of 3 sopes and is good enough to fill you up and keep going, Ah! Dont forget the salsa verde its awesome

They're known for their tacos dorados de papa (crunchy potato tacos) - highly recommend! They serve other items but this is the staple.

Any time your on Lankershim you gottta try Sandy's tacos. Been having there food past 8 years when they had a lunch truck in sun valley on San Fernando. They got this habanero spicy sauce wow I always go and get couple extras to bring back home. There tacos, burritos, tortas, sopas, everything here is good all types of meats I have had and everything is real good and good quality. The only thing bad is there nachos it's just plain chips, cheese, and meat.
